Dance Courses

Learning a language is not only about sitting in the classroom … it is about getting out there, finding out about the culture, exploring and getting to know the real Cuban experience. Our Language and Dance course does exactly that as you will take language classes in the morning and then in the afternoons you will be left free to indulge and experience Cuban dance.

Dance lessons combine the different rhythms known as Mambo, Son, and Cha Cha which have all contributed to Salsa. Learn the basic Cuban salsa body movements in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Dance lessons are always taught in the house for one hour at the host family’s house.

Please note that if your level of salsa is intermediate to advanced then you can begin son lessons.

Cuba is not famous for its gourmet cuisine but the best food can be found in paladores (family owned restaurants) and casas particulares (bed and breakfast). Try the frutura de maiz or the platano frito for a taste of fantastic Cuban deserts.
